The service does not automatically collect any information, except for the information contained in cookies.
Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the User’s device and are intended for use on the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the User’s device, and a unique number.
The entity placing cookies on the User’s device and accessing them is the Service operator — the Bogdan Paprocki Association, with its registered office at ul. Szaserów 27/8, Warsaw.
Cookies are used for the following purposes:
a) to adapt the content of the Service’s websites to the User’s preferences and optimise the use of the websites; in particular, these files make it possible to recognise the User’s device and display the website appropriately, tailored to their individual needs;
b) to create statistics that help understand how Users use the Service’s websites, which enables improvements in their structure and content.
The Service uses two basic types of cookies: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the User’s device until they log out, leave the website, or turn off the web browser. Persistent cookies are stored on the User’s device for a period specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
The Service uses the following types of cookies:
a) “necessary” cookies, enabling the use of services available within the Service, such as authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication;
b) cookies used to ensure security, e.g. for detecting authentication abuses;
c) “performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information on how the Service’s websites are used;
d) “functional” cookies, enabling the “remembering” of selected settings and personalisation of the User interface, e.g. regarding the chosen language or region of the User, font size, website appearance, etc.
In many cases, web browsers allow cookies to be stored on the User’s device by default. Users may change their cookie settings at any time. These settings can be modified, in particular, to block the automatic handling of cookies in the browser settings or to notify the User each time they are placed on their device. Detailed information on cookie handling is available in the browser’s settings.
The Service operator informs that restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Service’s websites.
Cookies placed on the User’s device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service operator.
